Prices already ranked offerings but never left the process, so what a node pool costs could only be worked out by hand. The gauge carries instance_type and zone like core's node metrics, so PromQL joins it to them without relabelling:

sum by (nodepool) (
  count by (nodepool, instance_type, zone) (karpenter_nodes_allocatable{resource_type="cpu", nodepool!=""})
  * on (instance_type, zone) group_left karpenter_hetzner_instance_type_hourly_price
)

CHANGELOG.md has an entry under [Unreleased], or nothing changes for users.
